Facilities Rental

Use of Facilities Application should be completed and submitted to the requested facility/school or the district office at least two weeks prior to the date(s) needed.

Application will be submitted to Site Administration for their review, approval, and signature.

Application is submitted to Facilities Management for review to ensure custodial services can be arranged.

• If requesting use of athletic facilities or fields, application will be submitted to the PE/Athletic Coordinator for review and approval.
• If requesting use of a kitchen, the application will be submitted to Nutritional Services to ensure kitchen staff can be arranged.
• If requesting use of district technology, the application will be submitted to Network Operations to ensure a technician can be arranged.

Upon receiving all necessary approvals, a formal Use of Facilities Agreement identifying the fees to be paid according to the organization’s identified category will be drawn up and shared with the requestor for signature.

The requestor will also receive an invoice for all fees associated with the rental.  These fees are due upon receipt, unless a payment plan was agreed to and written into the agreement.

The requestor must provide a Certificate of Insurance for $1,000,000 naming Tempe School District as additional insured prior to the start of the facility use.

• Category II organizations must provide proof of non-profit status.

• Category II organizations that wish to have certain small room facility fees waived, must provide a roster of participating students to verify 60% of participants are Tempe School District students.

Category II organizations include:

• Boy Scouts

• Girl Scouts

• Campfire

• Sports Programs

Category III organizations must provide proof of non-profit status.

Category III organizations include:

• Civic Organizations

• Homeowners Associations

• Cultural Organizations

• Educational Organizations

• Governmental Organizations

• Service Organizations

• Churches

Category IV organizations will be charged a $15 application fee that is due upon receipt of their approved application.
